Dental health tip 1. Sugar is one of the leading causes of tooth decay and its erosion capabilities should never be under estimated. So cut down on your intake and brush after eating a meal, especially a sugary one!
Dental health tip 2. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. You’d be surprised at how many people simply skip brushing in the middle of the day and will chew gum or rinse with mouthwash because they are in a hurry. It takes 6 minutes a day to brush three times a day.
Dental health tip 3. Floss at least twice a day. This takes about 2 to 3 minutes of your time. And it’s important to get the food lodged in between your teeth because it will cause decay and other issues.
Dental health tip 4. Eat for your dental health. Foods high in and other immune system-building foods are not only are good for your body but also great for your teeth.
Dental health tip 5. Whitening your teeth is great but make sure you’re cleaning them daily. Whitening makes teeth look great but cleaning them should not be substituted. Taking care of them like you would, say, as much time, as you put into grooming should be a daily goal.
